Joseph "Joey" Calisti
Director, Class of 2027
Joey is from Alexandria, Virginia and is a Geology major and pursuing a minor in English. He played the trumpet before directing and his favorite stand tune is Uma Thurman. Outside of pep band, Joey is a member of Delta Tau Omicron music fraternity, has a radio show on WCWM, and plays cornet for the Brass Ensemble.
Bryce McHose
Liason, Class of 2028
Bryce is in the class of 2028 and is a business analytics and data science double major from Williamsburg, VA. Apart from Pep Band, he is in AMP, Circle K International, Canterbury, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and Pickleball Club, and works at the W&M Entrepreneurship Hub. His favorite Pep Band memory is going with the band to March Madness his freshman year!
Josh Seagreaves
Drum Captain, Class of 2027
Josh is from Bradenton, Florida and is double majoring in Economics and Government. He is part of the Monroe Scholars program on campus and has years of musical leadership experience. He is passionate about the drumline and is excited to watch it continue to grow and improve.
Emma Beelner
Treasurer, Class of 2028
Emma is a Monroe Scholar pursuing a double major in History and Public Policy. She is from Orange, CA and has played the alto saxophone for nine years. Outside of Pep Band, she’s involved with the Flat Hat newspaper, Debate Society, a Government department research lab, and works at Swem Library. Her favorite stand tunes are “Timber” and “Uma Thurman,” and her favorite Pep memory is exploring the streets of Austin during March Madness.
Callie Tomaszewski
Secretary, Class of 2029
Callie Tomaszewski is in the class of 2029 and is an Anthropology major. Outside of Pep Band, she is involved with the CAL lab and the Cheese Club 😎. Her favorite parts of pep band are the Christmas parade, playing at tailgates, and getting pep dinner after IM sports.
Mike Hoess
Show Manager, Class of 2027
Mike is pursuing a major in Geology and a minor in Applied Science. He is from Haymarket, VA and greatly enjoys any outdoor activity. Outside of Pep Band, he is involved with Student Transition Engagement Programs as a Transition Coach and Orientation Area Director. He is also a Griffin Ambassador and member of Alpha Phi Omega. His favorite stand tune is Chameleon.
Chris Duffy
Librarian and Associate Director, Class of 2028
Chris is an economics major in the class of 2028 from Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to Pep Band, he also races through Team Blitz and teaches in the TutorZone. His favorite parts of Pep Band are tailgating and group dinners.
Jack Laird
Librarian, Class of 2029
Jack is a freshman pursuing a major in linguistics from Leesuburg Virginia. He is also involved in the ASL club, the Tribe Guard, and the French House. His favorite part of being in the Pep Band is being surrounded by passionate people who are just as loud with their voices as their instruments.
Lana Kelly
Publicity Chair and Associate Director, Class of 2029
Lana is from Chesapeake, Virginia and is a freshman thrilled to be studying Chemistry and (hopefully) Marine Science at William and Mary! She is apart of a few other music ensembles such as the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Wham Big Band. Alongside this, she is apart of the Travel Team for International Relations Club as well as serving as their Head Deputy of Campus Affaris alongside being the Social Chair for Delta Tau Omicron. Her favorite stands tune is big #10, The Muppets Show Theme!
Bobby Kartychak
Social Chair, Class of 2029
Bobby is a Government major in the class of 2029. Outside of Pep Band, he is a member of Student Assembly and plays the drumset in a band (shoutout Vacate the Premises!). His favorite song to play with Pep is Mr. Brightside
Katie Haas
Social Chair, Class of 2028
Katie is a member of the class of 2028 and from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a biology major and plans to research the evolution of human and animal behavior. In addition to playing the flute and helping to plan the peppiest of events, she’s also a part of the Monroe Scholars program and the club swim team. Her favorite pep band memory is traveling to Texas for the Tribe’s first ever March Madness. Her favorite stand tune is Mr. Brightside. You can find her kazooing around campus in her free time.
Dominique Mensah
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair, Class of 2027
Dominique is a member of the class of 2027 and intends to major in Neuroscience. She is from Woodbridge, Virginia, and plays the cymbals in our pep band. Outside of being the Pep Band DE&I chair, Dominique participates in the ASL club on campus.
